Find peace within by connecting to the divine light. Each of us possess a creative way to tap into this light. Today take the time to set a timer and sit three minutes with yourself in silence and stillness. You will find that after opening your eyes you will feel more refreshed and hopefully more excited to take on your day. As a new mom, I find that it is very helpful to listen and be in tune with my breath while performing a simple task such as feeding my baby girl, Gabriella. It totally brings on a refreshed awareness and a new sense of belonging when I can connect with the present moment of feeding her with nurturing foods.
Listening to my body always means that I have to practice self-awareness through meditation. If you want to follow and get rid of your daily accumulated stress, close your eyes before eating one of your meals and think of how that food will affect your body. Over time you will generate more will power from your mind as the natural healing force to get well and feel better in your own skin.
