Using therapy balls, you can give yourself a massage whenever you’d like one, and counteract the effects of long days on your feet or at the computer.
You control the pressure to generate a deep tissue or gentle massage; you control the pace and your arms will never get tired. In a relaxed environment, Christine Saiyan will guide you through ball rolling techniques that will help you become more aware of your bodily tension and resolve that tension by working connective tissue and muscles. Working from the feet to the head, Christine will help you address old injuries, scar tissue and general stiffness. This hands-o method also increases circulation, making you feel refreshed and rejuvenated overall. Ball rolling is a perfect complement to your yoga practice.
It is recommended that you use specifically designed balls to experience the full benefit of this self-healing method. Christine provides therapy balls you can borrow on the day or set of two can be purchased from her at the workshop for $10 - please bring cash or check.
Christine Saiyan is a certifed Yoga Tune Up® Teacher and Therapy Ball Practitioner. A Yoga teacher since 2006, and Thai yoga masseur she brings her love of anatomy and yoga to her teaching. Christine is an LA native and knows that everyone who tackles LA traffic on a daily basis deserves a massage! :)
